The Challenge
A luxury, made-to-measure product — sold online, configured in minutes.
GlasNu is a Dutch company specialising in premium glass sliding walls, designed for verandas, terraces, garden rooms, and interior spaces. Their product is entirely custom by nature: width up to 7 meters, multiple rail configurations, glass specifications, profile finishes, and installation variables — every order is unique. Selling a product of this technical and aesthetic complexity through a standard e-commerce flow wasn't viable. Customers needed to understand what they were buying, configure it precisely for their space, and check out with full confidence — all without speaking to a sales rep.
The Work
A fully custom configurator, engineered around a technically complex product catalog.
Eclipse designed and built a bespoke product configurator natively on Shopify, handling the entire commerce logic beneath it. The configurator guides customers through every relevant variable — wall width, number of rails, glass type, profile colour, and accessories — with each selection dynamically updating the product, price, and visual output in real time. The full Shopify backend was architected from scratch to support the configurator's logic: product variants, pricing rules, and order data are structured to handle the combinatorial complexity of a made-to-measure catalog. The result is a purchasing flow that feels as refined as the product itself.
The Result
A high-consideration purchase, made completely self-serve.
GlasNu customers can now configure, price, and order a fully custom glass sliding wall entirely on their own, without friction or support overhead. The configurator handles a product range that would typically require a quote request or showroom visit, and turns it into a direct, confident purchase. With a 4.7 Trustpilot rating and same-day order processing, the store now operates as a genuine sales engine for a premium, made-to-measure product.
